PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Build Real Skill, Strength, and Confidence
Our striking program is built around a practical, fight-focused system that blends elements of Muay Thai, boxing, and modern MMA striking.
The goal isn’t to train for a single ruleset—it’s to develop effective, adaptable stand-up skills that work in real situations, whether that’s competition, self-defense, or integration with Jiu-Jitsu.
- Learn practical, effective striking for real fighting and self-defense
- Develop timing, distance management, and technical precision
- Build conditioning and durability through structured training
- Gain confidence through measurable skill progression
BUILT FOR JIU-JITSU ATHLETES
This program is designed with Jiu-Jitsu in mind.
You’ll learn how to manage distance, close the gap safely, and strike in ways that connect directly to grappling—not conflict with it.
Instead of training striking in isolation, you’ll develop skills that enhance your overall martial arts game.
Who This Program Is For
- Complete beginners with no experience
- BJJ students looking to add striking
- Competitors preparing for kickboxing or MMA
- Anyone looking to improve fitness, confidence, and self-defense

Sparring will be introduced only after you have spent substantial time in the program and is always optional and controlled.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Fundamental striking mechanics (footwork, timing, defense)
- Punches, kicks, knees, elbows, and clinch work
- Pad work and partner drills
- Controlled, technical sparring (optional)
- How striking integrates with takedowns and Jiu-Jitsu
COACH: BOBBY FISH.
Bobby Fish is a Capital Region native and lifelong martial artist with a diverse background across multiple striking disciplines.
His training began with Tae Kwon Do and American Freestyle Karate before evolving into kickboxing and Muay Thai, where he developed his core style.
As a competitor, Bobby holds a 3–1 amateur kickboxing record and is undefeated in professional boxing (1–0), earning a TKO victory in the second round on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather vs Deji event in Dubai (2022).
He has trained under respected coaches including Andy Faragon (karate/kickboxing), Jerrick Jones (boxing), Greg Smith of Tang Muay Thai, and Alec Brooks of Jungle MMA in Orlando, Florida.
Bobby’s approach to coaching blends the precision of boxing with the versatility of Muay Thai, adapted for MMA and real-world application.
He also has experience with grappling, and his instruction is designed to align with our core foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—helping students develop a complete, well-rounded skillset.
RECOVERY & MOBILITY (YOGA)
Training hard is only part of the equation—recovery is what keeps you progressing.
As part of your membership, we offer a dedicated yoga class to help improve mobility, flexibility, and overall durability.
